Artist Statement:
Playing with familiar processes and trying to let go of the results, “Another Dawn” is woven from an intuitive process, meaning it is created without any planning or foresight. The recycled paper is from my undergraduate thesis show flyers; using that material became a reflection of my past and an acknowledgment of my growth since obtaining my BFA. I am looking to the future, a message intrinsically and subconsciously worked through this weaving, a message of Hope for the Future.
