Solo Exhibition 2025

Using natural materials that are gathered, deconstructed, and reconstructed, I move away from an idealized vision of “Nature” and toward something more strained, more unresolved. These forms hold the feeling of environments under pressure, where survival is ongoing, and where beauty must be found, even in death. The work resists the pull toward romanticization, asking instead for a slower attention, a willingness to remain with instability, and to sit with the weight of environmental grief as it surfaces.

I am also drawn to how spiritual meaning is built through the materials and processes used. Rather than offering transcendence or escape, these ritual acts become grounded, repetitive, and quietly introspective. The exhibition itself functions as a living ritual, where witnessing is a form of participation that deepens the spiritual meaning. These pieces do not resolve the questions of climate or comfort the viewer with answers. Instead, they hold space for acknowledgment—for a recalibration of perception, where nature is not distant or idealized, but present, fragile, and continuously struggling alongside us.
